Bulls 11 - Volcanoes 9 5/05
From what this writer saw at his vantage point umpiring. He saw 2
well coached teams that played hard
and had fun the entire game. Both teams and the players were just
enjoying a night at the Ball field. I saw some solid pitching on
both sides, some great defense, including a great play at short by the
Bull's Michael Ciaravino. Both teams battled into the final Bull's
at bat Sara Cherry worked out a walk, she was then followed by a Monster 2
Run Blast
to centerfield to win the game. Jordon Hearing of the Volcanoes also
hit a Home run that is still traveling.

Bats 7 - Bulls 3 5/08
A close and exciting game tonight, pretty much controlled by the
pitchers of both teams.
The Bats' tandem of Ryan Taylor and Dorian Royster struck out 17, with the only other out of the Bulls' offense coming on an unassisted grounder to the pitcher to end the game. Michael Ciaravino had the only two hits for the Bulls and scored one run. The other two Bulls' runs were scored by Sarah Cherry and A.J. Quen Wilson, who made the Bats pay for a couple of their walks. The Bats scored one in the first, when Jordan Jackson converted his lead-off base on balls into a run. Garrett Clark followed suit in the third, when he converted his hit by pitch into the only Bats run scored in that inning. The fourth was the big inning for the purple and black, as walks of Jackson and Cameron Elsey were followed by singles off the bats of Jevaugn Huffman and Royster. The big hit of the inning, however, was the screaming, line-drive triple into the right center gap by Jared Jordan. That hit maxed out (5 runs) the Bats in that inning, and were the last runs scored by the team the rest of the game. Starting pitcher Arleayshia Currie did a great job on the mound for the Bulls, striking out nine in her 3-1/3 innings of work. Two of the Bulls' runs came in the final inning, keeping all of the fans on the edge of their seats!
