Mets 11 - Red Sox 2

JP Burton took the mound today tossing only 82 pitches in 7 innings of work. He kept the Sox hitters off balance

tonight striking out 6. Some solid defensive plays behind JP were put in by the likes of Nick Rahaim at short,

Mitchell Bantien and Danielle Haggerty at second and Pat Lane was again solid at first.

Gio was solid in center and he and Jacob Brazil split duties behind the plate both looking sharp.

Brothers Gallagher ( Sean & Evan) patrolled right field splitting duties and doing well

Offensively the Mets were led by Gio's 2 for 3 performance including a double, Jacob Brazil continues his hitting

ways adding 2 hits, Chris VanTiem added a RBI single. JP Burton playing the leadoff role perfectly reaching base

twice on walks scoring both times. Great base running, timely hitting, solid pitching and defense is what the Mets

provided for the coaching staff tonight. Great Job, Keep up the good work & have Fun !!!

Mets 9 -  GP Patriots 8

5/31

This Met team played great again today ! Trailing by a run in the bottom of the seventh with the top of the order coming up.

JP Burton started the rally by earning a walk and stealing second, then Gio Collette doubled down the left field line

to drive in JP. Jacob Brazil, who has been putting a hurtin on the baseball this year, drove a double up the gap to win the game !!!

Chris VanTiem earned the win on the mound coming in relief for 5 solid innings of work.

Other contributors at the plate were Pat " I hit Rockets " Lane who doubled in a run, Evan Gallagher single and more importantly

laid down a beautiful sacrifice bunt to set up a run. Mitchell Bantien did the same thing today singling and laying down a sweet bunt

to set up yet another Met run.

Defensively the Mets were led by the play of Danielle Haggerty at second, Gio made some ESPN plays at third,

Anthony Sarkis made a nice grab in center while JP was solid at short. The Met coaching staff is very happy

with the flexibility on defense knowing that when someone is at any position they are making the plays !

Brewers 6 - Lac St Clair 6

5/31

Jory Evans led the Brewers to a 6-6 tie with LSC.  Jory pitched four strong innings giving up only 1 earned run.

He also scored twice, blasted a home run over the left fielders head, had a double and 3 RBIs.

Ryan Sperry closed out the last 2 innings giving up no earned runs and may have been able to lead us through a

tie breaking 8th inning if the game hadn't been stopped by lightning.

The Brewers fought hard today and earned a well deserved tie today.
