Reds 13 - Mets 2 6/05 The 1st place Reds put a big hurtin' on the young Met team tonight. Led by the dominating performance of Brian Werner playing in his first Junior game of the season. He kept the team off balance with both his fastball & a curve ball that is still dropping. JP Burton and Nick Rahaim had the only Met hits for the evening. Our hats off to the Reds tonight -We Will See you Again in the Playoffs !

GP Stingrays over Reds 6/07

Mets 9 - Dodgers 5 6/07 A great game between 2 good ball clubs. PJ Lemanski of the Dodgers & Gio Collette of the Mets took the mound today and both did well. JP Burton had to come in the 7th with bases juiced to earn the save striking out the last 2. Brendan Diamond also did fine in relief for the Dodgers. Jacob Brazil is on a terror at the plate this year reaching base all three times with 2 hits & 2 RBI, while Gio went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles 3 RBI, Sean Gallagher reached base 3 times with a walk & 2 singles, one of which was a beautiful bunt single. Defensively the Mets were led by the ESPN bare handed play of JP At third and Chris VanTiem threw out a runner at second from left field.

GP Saints over Brewers 6/06
The Brewers came up against a good hitting and
pitching team in the GP Saints.
Again we failed to support our pitching by making
way to many errors in what otherwise may have been a respectable
game.
Individually, Josh Godoshian continued to play
strong and use his speed on the bases and in centerfield.
In four plate appearances he had a walk, a hit
and a double.
On a night when the Brewers couldn't get their
bats going he decided to break the egg and steal home scoring
our first run of the game on a pitch that landed in the catchers glove. We tip our hats to the Saints for playing solid baseball and to Josh for adding some positive energy to our team.

Brewers 7 - GP Stingrays 4
The Brewers finally came to play as a team and earned their
first win of the year with solid fielding, pitching and
hitting.
Ryan Sperry stepped off the mound after five complete
innings and throwing 95 pitches, Brewers 5, Stingrays 2.
All the Brewers hit and got on base today, led by Gregory
Hoey with a walk a hit, a double and 3 RBIs in four plate
appearances.
All the Brewers fielded well today, with an exceptional
catch by Brandon Rice playing shortstop and a double play by
Norman Ender who caught several monster fly balls in center field, one of which he made a double play by throwing out the runner at first after he failed to tag up.
Most importantly, the Brewers came to play, stuck together
as a team, didn't get down on themselves when a few errors
happened and were focused on playing good baseball.
Congratulations on your first win Brewers!
