Phillies 12 - Brewers 9
What a slugfest. The Brewers and Phillies both came out
hitting, the lead swinging back and forth inning by inning.
Even though the Brewers had 14 hits, 4 walks and only 3
strikeouts, the best hitting numbers we have had all year,
we must tip our hats to the Phillies who never gave up and finished strong, coming back from a 9-7 deficit and winning the game.
While all the Brewers hit well, Stephen Biro, Luke Baker,
Justin Rakowicz and Ryan Borowski had exceptionally
good games at the plate and were a lot of fun to watch.

Mets 7 - Brewers 6
What a comeback tonight by the Mets ! Trailing 6 - 0 Sean Gallagher took the mound in relief and was masterful shut down the Brewers the rest of the way. Which gave the Mets time to come back and win this game. Led by Evan Gallagher 2 run single that tied the game and brother Sean came up the plate in the bottom of the eighth to drive in the winning run. Coach D was proud of the way this team fought until the end, never quitting giving everything they had, rooting on their teammates. Other standouts at the plate were Chris VanTiem who went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, Anthony Sarkis rocked a triple to right, Gio Collette hit some shots for doubles. The Brewers who are getting playoff ready as they do every year and finish strong played the Mets tough to the end ! Led by the likes of Ryan Sperry & Norm Ender who did an great job together on mound. Ryan ran out of pitches when he had the lead. Base Runners beware of Ryan's awesome pick off moves, nailing a couple of Mets. Other key Brewer contributors were Luke Baker, who's great catch off the bat of Sarkis robbed him of a for sure 3 bagger. At the plate Eli Sparkman & Greg Hoey tore the cover off the ball, each getting 2 hits including an ELI triple. Adding hits of their own were Stephan Biro's RBI single, Josh Godoshian singled and scored, Ender singled scored and walked, while Ryan, Luke and Jory Evans chipped in some hits. Ryan Borowski added a single and was solid behind the plate.

Mets 5 - GP Saints 2 Wow what a great ball game by both teams tonight. Led by the awesome pitching of Gio Collette and the great closing by JP Burton in the 7th brought home the victory. Some great defense by Jacob Brazil at first helped preserve the win, while JP was solid at short as was the entire outfield of Mitch Bantien, Anthony Sarkis, Nick Rahaim and Evan Gallagher. Hustle, sheer determination and the great attitude contributed to this team victory. At the Plate Sean Gallagher ripped a triple to right, Pat Lane and Jacob reached base all 3 times. A lot a great at bats led to walks, add that to great base running means runs. Simply put 11 players came together to play as one

Brewers 6 - GP White Sox 5
The Brewers did it again. They came out early, got on base and scored.
Holding a 4-1 lead most of the game, they had a tough 6th inning and let go of the lead.
The Brewers never quit and had a string of hits in the seventh to tie and then win the game.
The GP White Sox had a great comeback in the sixth and were poised to win the game.
The Brewers came through in the seventh to win the game; getting the GP White Sox out 123 and then hitting and getting on base
to score the tying and winning run. When our third base was falling apart almost all game, Gregory Hoey took over the job and
made an awesome back handed stab at third down the line, looked around and then threw the runner out at first after he read
today's News. That play, which he made look easy, set the tone for the Brewer's 7th inning and the Brewers came back to win 6-5
and getting out the GP White Sox 1-2-3. The Brewers continue to hit and score runs throughout the lineup.
The most exciting play of the game came when the other team decided to intentionally walk Norman Ender so they could face
Jory Evans. Part of their thinking must have been to stop Gregory Hoey from stealing third...but he did anyway, even with a
standing up catcher.
With two outs and after Josh Godsoshian had just stole around the bases and been knocked in by Gregory Hoey for the tying run,
and after the other team had intentionally walked Norm Ender...
Jory Evans ripped a single over the shortstop's head, sending Gregory Hoey home and getting the game winning RBI.
What a fun game and great effort by both teams.
Jory Evans pitched 5 1/3 Innings with only 58 pitches; he stepped off the mound with a 4-1 lead and is the winning pitcher.
