MAJOR LEAGUE

Game 1

Naylan took the hill and the Pirates put up 4 runs in the 1st 2 innings before he was relieved by Jesse Brian who

surrendered one more in the 3rd until... 

In the 1st the pinstripes put 3 on the board featured by Thomas Mascarin 2 rbi single to put them up 3-2 after 1. 

 In the 2nd and 3rd the Yankees batted around to make it 13-5 after 3 and added 3 more in the 4th until.. as we know it the rain came. 

 Great job Yankees in game 1.
 

Game 2

Wet to start, wet to end but a great final game that was interrupted by rain on Saturday and finished Sunday. 

 The Bucs disciplined approach at the plate produced a 3-0 lead through 2 innings. 

 In the 3rd the Yankees rallied for 5 with timely hits by Gabriel, Jonathon, Jesse, Ronnie and Thomas. 

 In relief
Ronnie pitched a scoreless 3rd for the visitors.  Good base running produced 2 more to take the score to 7-3. 

Bottom of the 4th with leadoff batter Brian Echols on first and a 2-0 count on Casey Livingston the clouds opened up on us...

 Turn to Sunday. 

In relief Jonathon Bevier held the score to 7-3 in the 4th.  the Bucs were able to add 2 more on Brian's 2 rbi double to take it to

 7-5 and the Pinstripes added 1 more to take it 8-5 and win the City Championship!  Great job all year Yankees,

way to work hard and never quit!
