6/02

Weseley Watt had a solid double. Everybody was alive at the plate. Gloves were also alive in the field.

Opening inning saw the pirates score four runs. The cardinals tied it in the third. Four more runs the rest of the

game gave the pirates eight total. Upside down like a goalie is how Casey Livingston was at catcher, awesome.

Cam Keuning was on base three times. Killer shots by Brian Echols going 5 for 5.

Exceptional pitching by Sean Goolsby and Brian Echols. Donovan "The Bull" was on base twice with a hit and a walk.

White Sox over Cubs

6/02

Giants 8 - Cardinals 1

6/04

It was a “Battle of the Connors” as Connor Perrault took the mound for the Cards and Connor Marshall pitched for the Giants.

However it was the Giants night both offensively and defensively as the redbirds feathers were ruffled in this 8-1 victory.

Outstanding hitting by Iain Marshall, Alex Hall, Connor Marshall, Derrick Vaughn, Doug Bell and Nicole “Pudge” Haggerty.

Connor Marshall pitched a complete game with 5 K’s giving up 3 hits over six innings including a massive solo home run by Larry Upshur,

clearing the left center fence. Solid defensive plays tonight by  Doug Bell, Nicole Haggerty and Connor Marshall and outstanding

first base play by Tom Witcher. GREAT EFFORT tonight Giants from top to bottom. Coach’s Mike, Nick, Derrick,

and Matt are very proud of you and glad to see you playing Giants baseball

Pirates over Cubs

6/04

Nehemiah Meyers pitched real nice and had 2 long outfield hits.  The Pirates played strong.

White Sox 16 - Yankees 5

6/05

Yankees 8 - Tigers 7

6/06

The Tigers would like to take this time to congratulate the Yankees on winning the AL regular season.

The Tigers fought hard as they have all season never giving up when they were down by 5 runs in their last at bat, when they erupted

for 5 to tie it only to lose it in extra innings. Coach D is really proud of all his team especially Joe Ciaravino who stepped up to

catch his first major league ever in place of the injured Richard Mitchell and was stupendous to say the least.

Joe also had 2 crucial hits to spark both Tiger rallies. Trevon Godfrey hit one into orbit for a 2 run shot.

The bottom of the order is again contributing big. The likes of Grant Mercer, Dan Palmer, Mike Duquet,

Ryan Mazzola and Noah Varicalli are all contributing big. For this Tiger team who only has three 12 year olds and 7 players age 10 or 9,

the are impressing a lot of coaches in the league. Keep up the teamwork and good things will come playoff time !

Ronnie took the hill throwing 5+ innings striking out 11 while allowing 3 earned runs and issuing 2 free passes.

Passing it off to a cold Jonathon Bevier in the sixth then the upstart Tigers rallied for 5 to tie it at 7.

While the pinstripes added one in the seventh.  Jonathon took control doubling up the runner at first on a double play and

Izzy catching a pop up for the last out.  Batting highlights include "Big" Jake Hearings solo shot to right for his first home run

going 1/2, Jonathon 1/1 Thomas Mascarin 2/2 and Izzy, Jakob Hook and Jesse Brian each contributing in route

to the regular season AL Pennant.  keep up the hard work Pinstripes and Tigers.

Giants 7 - Cubs 0

7/07

Yankees 9 - Pirates 5

7/07

Izzy took the hill for the beleagured yankee pitching staff, pitching effectively until the reached her limit.

Then handing the ball off to Jakob "Mariano" Hook for the save.

Defensively the staff was helped out by the DP by Alex Deleeuw and Naylan Johnson.

Naylan lead the hitting attack 3/3 w/2b and 3 rbi also contributing was Ronnie Williams 3/4, Alex, Izzy, Thomas Mascarin,

Jesse Brian and Jonathon Bevier also adding a hit a piece.  Keep up the hard work Bucs and Pinstripes!

White Sox 9 - Tigers 5

7/07

Tigers 9 - Pirates 2

6/09

Young Guns Mike Duquet, Dillon Webb & Garrett Gersch took the mound  for the Tigers tonight.

All three were masterful keeping the Pirates off balance. The Pirates could only muster a Brian Echols 2 run

Home Run in the 5th inning. Speaking of Home Runs Trevon Godfrey blasted his league leading

5th Home run of the Year for the Tigers tonight while going 3 for 3 with a double. Garrett added a single,

Joe Ciaravino continues to hit the ball adding a single, while Dillon Webb reached base all 3 times including a double.

Mike Duquet also doubled to help him earn his first major league victory. This is the first year in Coach D's

20 years were ALL 12 players on the team improved greatly through the regular season. He will guarantee this for the playoffs.

This Tiger team will not give up and will play hard until the last out of the game. A true pleasure to manage !

Giants 7 - Yankees 4

6/10

Cubs 6 - Cardinals 5

6/11

WHAT A WIN !!! This writer was so impressed with the Cub team this year. They improved dramatically

through the season and just in time for the the playoffs !

The Cubs won there first game of the season behind the pitching of Malik Bruton (3 runs/3 innings) and

Jay Smolinski (2 runs/3 innings). Malik Bruton led the hitting with a 3/3 night including 2 doubles 3 rbi and the

game winning hit in the bottom of the 6th inning. Andre Berry was 2 for 4 and scored the winning run.

Alec Berry contributed with several outstanding plays at shortstop and Andrew Toutant made an excellent

throw from centerfield to nail a runner at second base and was 2/3 with a run scored at the plate.
